Attorney Hayley Roper is an associate in the firm's Litigation and Employment & Labor Law practice groups. Hayley advises individual and corporate clients in matters of Employment Discrimination, Harassment, Wrongful Discharge and other Workplace Torts, Implementing Personnel Policies and Procedures, Landlord/Tenant matters, and General Litigation. She is co-chair of the North Carolina Bar Association’s 2010-2011 YLD Law and Aging Committee.

Hayley came to McGuire, Wood & Bissette after graduating cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens, Georgia in May 2008, where she served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of International and Comparative Law. She earned her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Georgia Terry School of Business in May 2005 and her Bachelors of Business Administration in International Business in May 2001, cum laude.

Hayley is a member of Pisgah Legal Services’ Mountain Area Volunteer Lawyers Program which assists and represents low-income residents in western North Carolina in civil disputes. She is a member of the Junior League of Asheville for which she serves as Historian and assistant chair of the PR Committee.
