Emily Nenni is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses on civil litigation, commercial litigation, corporate law, entertainment law, personal injury, and estate litigation.

Experience Highlights:

Emily assists individuals and business organizations in Western North Carolina by providing consultations and drafting contracts such as service warranties, purchase and sale agreements, and confidentiality agreements. She counsels family-owned businesses on issues of individual and commercial significance and she counsels and represents individuals on a variety of issues including landlord-tenant disputes, real estate, personal injury, and employment issues.

Emily assists musicians, venues, media outlets and entertainment-related companies with legal needs. She has handled agreements involving booking, performance, management, distribution and promotions for artists all over the country. Her experience in the entertainment industry dates to 2004 and includes artist management and production of non-profit and for-profit events. Before joining the firm as an associate, Emily worked in McGuire, Wood & Bissette’s litigation department as an assistant to attorneys Joseph P. McGuire and Mary E. Euler, where she worked with complex litigation and personal injury actions.

Emily has assisted in litigating cases in North Carolina state court on matters of complex commercial litigation and estate litigation, including jury trials and administrative hearings.

Community Service:

Emily is an ongoing contributor to Pisgah Legal Services’ Mountain Area Volunteer Lawyers program and provides pro bono services through many Pisgah Legal Services and North Carolina Bar Association community clinics. She serves as Secretary of the Young Lawyers Division of the 28th Judicial District Bar, Liaison to the Western Chapter of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys, and is a member of Leadership Asheville Forum. She has also been appointed to the Board of Directors for The Haven homeless shelter in Brevard for 2013-2016.
